Website Portfolio

I design high quality, standards-compliant websites for businesses, non-profit groups, and myself. I started designing websites at age 14, when I first learned HTML. Since then, I’ve learned a lot about web development and how the Internet works — and I’m still learning.

Sites That I Built & Own

FreeTheFlash Entertainment
www.freetheflash.com

FreeTheFlash.com’s mission is to bring you the latest flash animations, funny videos, flash games, hilarious audio, prank calls, celebrity soundboards, and prank downloads from around the Web. This is the first real website that I built, way back in 2005. Not only is this my oldest site, but it’s also my most popular. In 2006, the site received over 600,000 unique visitors who viewed almost 3,000,000 pages. The site is built in PHP and MySQL with a custom back-end to make the site easy to manage.

Study Notes
www.studynotes.org
(currently in beta)

StudyNotes.org will be the premiere resource for 100% FREE AP, SAT, and ACT notes — once it’s finished. I hope to offer free study materials for AP classes, SAT and ACT exams to high school students in an innovative new way. This site is still in development, and I’ve got a lot of work to do on it, but it’s already been extraordinarily popular. Right now, it’s getting 1,200,000 page views and 520,000 unique visitors annually! To read about my plans for the site, go here.

Sites That I Built

Stanford Association for Computng Machinery
acm.stanford.edu

ACM, the world’s largest educational and scientific computing society, delivers resources that advance computing as a science and a profession. The Stanford chapter of the ACM serves the Stanford community by planning and organizing numerous industry, academic, and social events each quarter. As the president of the Stanford chapter of the ACM, I built this site to make communication with our 200+ members more effective. Site was built using the Joomla CMS, for ultimate ease-of-use.

Hands For Hope
www.hands4hopeyouth.org

Hands For Hope is a new, youth driven, outreach organization based in El Dorado Hills, CA, designed to create opportunities for youth to identify areas of need in their communities where they can make a difference and have a positive impact. When a new community service organization in my community was trying to find someone to design their website, I couldn’t resist volunteering. I worked with them to create a site that would be useful to their rapidly growing membership.

Oak Ridge High School Key Club
www.orhskeyclub.com

Key Club is an international student-led organization which provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership. I was the webmaster and techie of my high school’s Key Club. Good times.
